October 15, 2012
Northern New Jersey based filmmaker Larry Rosen creates a scare of a film, with his latest horror film, “House on the Hill.” Rosen is an award winning director and filmmaker, who uses Bergen County as the setting for many of his films. His latest being about a haunted house and the urban legend around it.
In “House on the Hill,” Larry Rosen reunites with actors from past films of his. In this latest film, a group of friends are bored on a summer day, and begin to tell ghost stories. As the friends begin to challenge one another’s egos, they decide to prove themselves by entering the Hanning house, believed to be haunted by the ghost of a girl who committed suicide in the house. One friend, obsessed with his video camera, decides to record their adventure.
According to Larry Rosen, “Working with such talented actors such as Lisa [Pincus], Nadia [Serantes] and Valentina [Zell], you know what they can do and how much further they can take your vision. And then still, their talent and ability surprises you. Valentina was able to transform her character into a whole new dimension, taking the film to another level; and the fright factor created by Nadia made the film an edge of your seat experience.”
